Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, attended the graduation ceremony of new officer cadets at the Dubai Police Academy on Thursday.
The ceremony celebrated the graduation of several groups, including the 33rd cohort of 115 male officer cadets, the 6th cohort of 120 female officer cadets, 53 university students enrolled in the 33rd class, and 142 participants who successfully completed the foundation courses.
The event began with the UAE National Anthem as Sheikh Hamdan arrived at the parade ground. This was followed by a coordinated field display by the graduates, highlighting their discipline, professional skills, and strong physical fitness.
During the ceremony, Sheikh Hamdan, accompanied by Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, and Brigadier Dr Sultan Abdul Hamid Al Jamal, Director of the Dubai Police Academy, honoured the top-performing graduates. Medals of excellence were awarded in recognition of their outstanding achievements. Sheikh Hamdan congratulated the graduates and wished them continued success in serving the nation and contributing to the safety and security of the community.
