Twenty years have passed since Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid took over power in Dubai, first as Vice President of the UAE, his beloved country, and then as Prime Minister, watering roses and planting trees, building structures for Dubai to thrive and the United Arab Emirates to shine.
Sheikh Mohammed directs the UAE’s growth and development initiatives, strengthening its economic foundations and paving the course for a bright future. Together with his brother and supporter, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, they are on the route to greatness with their project, which is unquestionably the nation.
Sheikh Mohammed is supported by his two sons, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance. He instilled in them a love for their homeland as well as the spirit of his experiences at the municipal and federal levels, so that they might be a part of the big dream, contributing to achievement and shaping the future of Dubai and the Emirates.
