
Building on the incredible accomplishments of the previous year, which have made the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park (SRTIP) one of the fastest-growing technology parks in the region, the SRTIP Board of Directors, in its fourth session, set the stage for the next phase of growth in a high-level meeting presided over by Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi.
The gathering, which took place in the recognisable BEEAH Group headquarters, brought together government, academic, and business leaders who were all dedicated to enhancing Sharjah’s standing as a premier regional centre for innovation.
Sheikha Bodour thanked the board members at the beginning of the meeting and emphasised the value of forming strong cross-sector collaborations. “SRTIP is a national innovation model where the synergy between industry, research, and policy continuously unlocks transformative opportunities.” Delivering significant results in the areas that are most important to our society’s future—healthcare, mobility, sustainability, and manufacturing—is our common purpose, she said.
SRTIP CEO Hussain Al Mahmoudi presented highlights of 2024, including advancements in significant projects, company growth, and future expansion. In his 2025 strategy, he placed a fresh emphasis on tenant growth, infrastructural preparedness, and luring in new, innovative businesses.
