The Airline’s Dedication to Drawing in More Passengers

Monday marked the public opening of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Regarding this year’s show, the exhibitors are optimistic. Gulf Today presents the unvarnished opinions of different exhibitors and businesses.

The tourism boards of Sharjah, the Philippines, the Maldives, Visit Britain, Thailand, the Japan National Tourist Organisation (JNTO), Uganda, and Hungary signed eight Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Emirates on the opening day of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM).

These agreements demonstrate the airline’s commitment to promoting tourism in the larger United Arab Emirates through strategic partnerships, thereby attracting more passengers to its extensive network of over 140 locations, where they can experience the unique views, culture, and attractions of each destination. To increase tourism and tourist arrivals in the UAE emirate of Sharjah, Emirates and the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Authority (SCTDA) will collaborate.

As part of the new agreement, which takes effect on Monday, Emirates and SCTDA will investigate and conduct promotional efforts, as well as provide customised packages for tour operators and the broader travel industry in strategic areas. Through the airline’s website “Dubai Experience,” Emirates and SCTDA will also look into ways to develop distinctive goods and packages that can be sold directly to Emirates’ clientele. This is in addition to advertising and cross-promotional marketing initiatives, media and travel trade familiarisation programs, and promotional competitions designed to promote Sharjah trips as part of a comprehensive UAE vacation.
