Louise Araneta-Marcos, the First Lady of the Republic of the Philippines, visited Dubai Chambers’ offices on Sunday to talk about ways to improve bilateral relations and expand mutual cooperation. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, and Eng. Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of Dubai Chambers, were present at the meeting.
This visit constitutes an important step in enhancing the relationship between Dubai and the Philippines and creating new opportunities for partnership between our business communities,” said Al Mansoori. We are dedicated to helping Philippine businesses grow locally and globally by leveraging Dubai’s competitive advantages, including its strategic location, cutting-edge infrastructure, and welcoming business environment.
“Dubai Chambers remains committed to strengthening international economic partnerships, expanding trade cooperation, and identifying strategic opportunities that advance mutual growth, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for business and investment,” he continued.
Dubai Chambers gave a presentation at the conference that highlighted Dubai’s strategic advantages as a global commercial hub, possible areas of collaboration between Dubai and the Philippines, and the competitive advantages the emirate provides to Philippine businesses.
The visit coincides with the Philippines and Dubai’s expanding economic and investment relations, with non-oil bilateral trade expected to reach Dhs3.1 billion in 2024. In the first nine months of 2025, 653 Philippine businesses become members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce.
