Tom Cruise, a Hollywood actor, has decided to leave his £35 million luxury flat in One Hyde Park, London, because he no longer feels safe there. This is because there was an armed attack on a Rolex store below the property. Six armed thieves broke into the Bucherer store and took Rolex watches. This made the 63-year-old actor worry about his safety and decide to go back to the United States, according to a source close to Cruise who spoke to the media.
The assailants scared off security personnel and stole about 20 expensive watches by using machetes, big and small hammers, and a gadget to break thick glass. The group got away on motorcycles after the raid lasted about three minutes.
The source further said, The violent attack showed that there isn’t enough security around luxury apartments in London.” He used to like wandering around the region, but he thinks the city has become less safe in the last two years. In the past few years, motorbike gangs have been committing more crimes in Knightsbridge and Belgravia, mostly against tourists and rich people.
