Trump Receives a Golden Pager from Netanyahu, who says, “That Was a Great Operation

In response to a sophisticated attack that detonated hundreds of pagers and walkie-talkies belonging to Hizbollah agents in Lebanon, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presented US President Donald Trump with a golden beeper as a gift during their meeting in Washington, according to an Israeli official.

At least nine individuals were murdered and thousands were injured in the incident, which revealed a deep penetration into Hizbollah’s ranks and operations. It was conducted on September 18, 2024, while hostilities between Israel and the Lebanese organisation were intensifying. Following months of cross-border bloodshed, it resulted in the deaths of several Hizbollah leaders and an eventual ceasefire.

When Trump received the present, the Israeli source claimed that his response was, “That was a major operation.” The officer was asked to remain anonymous due to he wasn’t authorized to reveal details of the encounter to the media.

According to the official, Trump and Netanyahu had a five-hour visit that included talks with officials, a dinner, and a tour of the White House.

According to the UN chief, Trump’s plan to expel all Palestinians from the Gaza Strip would amount to “ethnic cleaning,” and the only way to stabilise the Middle East is through a two-state solution.

At a long-planned meeting of the General Assembly committee supporting Palestinian rights on Wednesday, Secretary-General Antonio Guterres stated without bringing up Trump that “in the search for solutions, we must not make the problem worse.
