Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, has received the Order of the Union from UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in recognition of his ongoing dedication and sincere efforts to advance government work, as well as his distinguished contributions to serving the nation.
Sheikh Mohamed bestowed the accolade on Gergawi during the opening of the inaugural World Laureates Summit, which began today in Dubai and will last three days. Sheikh Mohamed wished Gergawi ongoing brilliance and success in serving his country, characterising him as one of the national figures who has established an outstanding example of public service. Sheikh Mohamed praised Gergawi’s dedication, sincerity, and exceptional abilities.
Gergawi expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Sheikh Mohamed and that he was honoured to receive the award. He underlined the UAE leadership’s unwavering support for native talent, allowing them to play an important part in the country’s development.
He stated that the award serves as a great motivator to continue working toward the leadership’s vision for a more prosperous future and to remain committed to serving the nation. His Excellency closed by emphasising his desire to constantly uphold the leadership’s trust.
