An important turning point in CUD’s internationalization approach is the Memoranda of Understanding (MoU). Two new academic routes, situated in one of North America’s most vibrant and innovative academic environments, form the foundation of the cooperation inked in Dubai. These routes provide a smooth pathway to globally recognized Canadian certificates.
Eligible students in the School of Engineering, Applied Science, and Technology may finish their first year of study at CUD and then transfer to uOttawa to finish the next three years of their chosen degree through the 1+3 Collaborative Student Transfer Program.
Public health students can get a dual degree from both CUD and uOttawa by completing two years at CUD and two years at uOttawa through the School of Health Sciences & Psychology’s 2+2 Dual-Degree Program.
This partnership with the University of Ottawa strengthens the academic corridor between Dubai and Canada,” said Buti Saeed Al Ghandi, Chancellor of Canadian University Dubai. It demonstrates our dedication to developing educational pathways that link students to international opportunities, top-notch research settings, and multicultural experiences that mold future-ready leaders.
