The UAE is experiencing an increasingly strong start to the winter travel season, highlighting its position as one of the top travel destinations in the globe. This coincides with cooler temperatures and a wide range of experiences available to both tourists and locals throughout the nation’s emirates.
Due to rising demand for outdoor activities, heritage festivals, entertainment events, and winter camps, this year’s season is expected to see significant development in both local and foreign tourists. These have grown to be important wintertime draws in the UAE, solidifying the nation’s standing as a significant regional center for seasonal travel.
The UAE offers a variety of winter events that appeal to a wide range of interests from mid-December to the end of April. Major events that are taking center stage across the country garner attention, most notably the Liwa International Festival in the Al Dhafra Region of Abu Dhabi. The festival, which runs for 23 days from December 12 to January 3, has an expanded schedule that includes shopping areas, sporting events on Tal Moreeb’s dunes, artistic performances, music concerts, and heritage events. These events highlight the richness of Emirati heritage and the depth of the desert experience that draws winter travellers.
