The Indian Prime Minister was greeted upon arrival by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. Prime Minister Modi was greeted with a guard of honor and performances of the national anthems of both nations.
A group of military aircraft confronted the plane carrying Prime Minister Modi as it entered UAE territory. As a welcome gesture, the squadron leader asked permission to accompany the aircraft to the airport.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi denounced the attacks on the United Arab Emirates and commended President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s leadership for exercising courage and restraint in the face of adversity.
PM Modi thanked the UAE government and the royal family for supporting the Indian diaspora during this trying period during his meeting with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi.
We strongly condemn the attack that took place in the UAE,” stated Prime Minister Modi. In any sense, the way the UAE was singled out is reprehensible. The bravery and self-control you displayed in these trying times are very admirable. “We applaud you for the actions you have taken to uphold territorial integrity, security, and national unity under your direction. He continued, “I express my heartfelt appreciation to the UAE government and the royal family for the way you cared for the Indian community and looked after them like members of your own family during such difficult times.
