Ukraine Launched Over 500 Drones Toward Russia, Killing Four

More than 500 Ukrainian drones attacked Russia overnight, killing four people in the Moscow region, police reported on Sunday. Russia’s defense ministry reported that air defenses shot down 556 drones in over a dozen regions, including Moscow.

A UAV collided with a private house, killing a woman. The Moscow region’s Governor, Andrey Vorobyov, tweeted on Telegram that one more person is buried under rubble. Two males were also killed in the early morning incident.”Since 3 a.m., air defence forces have been repelling a large-scale UAV attack on the capital region,” he said, adding that four persons were injured and infrastructure facilities were attacked.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky threatened on Friday to undertake additional retaliatory attacks, a day after a Russian attack on Kyiv killed 24 people. Firefighters work at the scene of an apartment building destroyed by a Russian missile and drone strike yesterday, amid Russia’s attack on Ukraine in Kyiv, Ukraine, on Friday. Local officials in Russia’s capital stated that air defense systems intercepted at least 74 drones overnight, hurting 12 people.
