Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Ajman Executive Council and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ajman University, and His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, attended the graduation ceremony of the second group of the university’s 35th graduating class, the “Proud of UAE” Cohort, on Tuesday at the Sheikh Zayed Center for Conferences and Exhibition on campus.
Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, received an Honorary Doctorate in Humanities from H.H. Sheikh Humaid during the ceremony. This was the university’s first honorary doctorate in its history, awarded in recognition of his pioneering national role and decades-long contributions to advancing higher education, supporting scientific research, and establishing knowledge institutions that have significantly advanced the UAE’s comprehensive development journey.
H.H. Sheikh Humaid commended Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak’s tireless efforts to advance the education sector and to support knowledge-based and cultural projects that have bolstered the UAE’s standing as a hub for knowledge and cultural openness at the regional and global levels.
