The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has announced in a statement that Indian passport services will be unavailable for five days beginning on August 29, 2024.

The statement states that the Passport Seva Portal will be unavailable for technical maintenance from Thursday, August 29, at 20:00 IST (18:30 UAE time) to Monday, September 2, 2024, at 06:00 IST (04:30 UAE time).

The statement went on to say that starting on August 29, 2024, at 17:00 UAE time, and ending on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 1:00 PM, all M/s BLS International locations will no longer provide passport and related services (including TATKAAL and PCC).

Applicants who have already scheduled appointments for August 30 and August 31, 2024, will receive revised appointment dates from BLS in the following week, from September 2 to September 8, 2024.

If the applicant finds the new appointment date inconvenient, he or she may walk in to any BLS centre after that date and submit the passport application. There will be no need for a separate appointment for this purpose.

The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi released a statement that stated, “However, Consular and Visa Services will continue to be rendered at all centres of M/s BLS International across UAE on August 30 and Aug. 31.
