A Woman is Declared Insolvent by a Dubai Court Due to a Dhs425,000 Debt

An Arab woman accumulated Dhs425,000 in debt to multiple banks and institutions, which led the Dubai Civil Court to declare her insolvent. The court determined that she was unable to pay her bills and fulfill her financial commitments. To file the decision in the appropriate registry, the court enforced a number of regulatory and oversight actions, such as a travel ban and communication to the appropriate authorities and the Al Etihad Credit Bureau.

In particular, an Arab woman sued the Dubai Civil Court, asking for proceedings to be started and for her to be deemed insolvent. She clarified that a combination of financial commitments and a lack of assets or income prevented her from being able to pay her bills.

According to the specialist’s assessment, the city owed roughly Dhs425,905 in total, which was split among multiple organizations. This includes Dhs14,758 in outstanding credit card balances, bank debt, unpaid check debt, and private school tuition.

According to the article, the woman has no automobiles or real estate, nor does she possess any other assets that might be seized. Additionally, she does not have a job or participate in any other fruitful professional endeavors. Additionally, it stated that her Dhs14,000 monthly earnings is not enough to pay for her debts alone, let alone her essential living expenditures.
