The First Flight to Peshawar City is Launched by Etihad Airways

On Monday, Etihad Airways celebrated the launch of its first flight to Peshawar (PEW), extending its network in Pakistan and giving passengers easy access to the UAE, GCC, and other destinations within Etihad’s larger network.

The capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Peshawar, is known for its rich history, cultural legacy, and function as a gateway to trade and tourism. The new direct route links Abu Dhabi with Peshawar.

In addition to improving two-way travel for commerce, business, and pleasure, the route is anticipated to meet the high demand from the more than 1.5 million Pakistanis who reside and work in the United Arab Emirates.

Together with Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, Peshawar now serves as Etihad’s fourth nonstop stop in Pakistan, enhancing the airline’s presence in the area and providing customers greater options and flexibility throughout its expanding network. The launch of Peshawar reflects Etihad’s commitment to building a robust global network,” stated Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways.
