
The UAE delegation, headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, attended the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) meeting in New York with Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade.
The significant yearly gathering brought together world leaders to talk about urgent global challenges and to promote cooperation in order to build a more sustainable future. Al Zeyoudi participated in a series of bilateral talks with government representatives, discussing ways to enhance trade and investment relations and advance key economic sectors.
Our national commitment to playing a crucial role in promoting global economic growth and prosperity is highlighted by the UAE’s attendance at the UN General Assembly meeting, Al Zeyoudi added. To achieve our shared objectives of economic development and sustainability, our discussions in New York focused on expanding global trade and investment flows, as well as strengthening our economic ties with like-minded countries.
He also met with prominent representatives of the Eurasia Group, Blackrock Infrastructure Investments, and the Goldman Sachs Global Institute, among others, emphasizing the value of high-level cooperation to strengthen economic links, spur growth, and promote sustainable development.
