Expo Centre Sharjah will host the 44th Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF 2025) from November 5–16, 2025, with the theme “Between You and a Book. The world-renowned event, which is organized by the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA), will bring together over 2,350 publishers and exhibitors from 118 different nations.
Distinguished writers, artists, and thinkers will be among the more than 250 visitors from 66 countries who will take part in the more than 1,200 events and activities that SIBF 2025 will organize. As part of the cultural program, ten countries Iceland, Jamaica, Nigeria, Mali, Chad, Angola, Mozambique, Guinea, Senegal, and Vietnam will be taking part in the fair for the first time.
Additionally, the exhibition will provide a wider range of pre-scheduled workshops in Arabic and English, taught by prominent figures in the fields of publishing and creative writing. Also, 28 guest experts will provide 750 workshops in a variety of fields, providing audiences with a range of perspectives and practical experiences.
Greece will be the official Guest of Honor at this edition as well. There will be a special program of events with 70 participants, including academics, publishers, singers, actors, writers, poets, translators, and illustrators.
