The Mohammed Bin Rashid Humanitarian Ship arrived at Al Arish Port in the Arab Republic of Egypt as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, carrying relief and humanitarian supplies to assist residents of the Gaza Strip, in accordance with President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s orders.
As part of the UAE’s continuous humanitarian efforts to lessen the suffering of civilians, especially children, women, and the elderly, the arrival was made in the presence of Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi, the UAE Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
In response to the critical humanitarian needs in the Gaza Strip, the ship is transporting a wide range of aid with a total cargo surpassing 7,300 tonnes, including essential food supplies, shelter materials, winter clothes, and nutritional supplements intended for women and children.
The ship’s cargo was prepared by several UAE-based charitable and humanitarian organizations, demonstrating the unity of humanitarian organizations and the integration of national efforts within the UAE’s humanitarian framework, which ensures the prompt delivery of aid to those in need, in compliance with the highest organizational and humanitarian standards.
