Friedrich Merz, the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, met with UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Friday to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in support of common interests and development priorities.
Sheikh Mohamed emphasised the two nations’ strong ties and fruitful collaborations, especially in the areas of energy, innovation, and cutting-edge technology, during discussions with the German Chancellor, who is now in the United Arab Emirates on an official visit.
He pointed out that the UAE is eager to deepen these connections for the good of both nations and their citizens. Numerous regional and global topics of shared concern were also discussed at the summit.
The German Chancellor and the President of the United Arab Emirates stressed the significance of promoting regional and international stability by settling disputes amicably. The Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC, Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and Dr. Markus Krebber, Chief Executive Officer of RWE, exchanged the Memorandum of Understanding.
