The Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) meeting was presided over by Crown Prince Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, who is also the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and the Chairman of the Council. The meeting was held at the Sharjah Ruler’s Office on Tuesday.
Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the deputy ruler of Sharjah and vice chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC), was present at the meeting. The Council began the meeting by congratulating President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Sharjah Ruler, Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers, the UAE people, and Muslims worldwide on the onset of the Holy Month of Ramadan. The Council also prayed to Almighty God to bless the Holy Month and accept the good deed during it.
The Council authorised the first group of recipients of residential and investment land grants for 2026, which includes 1,200 recipients spread across all Sharjah cities and regions, in accordance with the Sheikh Sultan’s directives to guarantee a respectable standard of living and assist Emirati families.
