Angelina Jolie, a Hollywood actress, has listed her Los Angeles home for sale. Formerly owned by director Cecil B. DeMille, the Oscar-winning actress has formally listed her California estate for $29.85 million.
According to “People” magazine, the six-bedroom, ten-bathroom mansion has 11,000 square feet of living area and is situated on slightly more than two acres. A Beaux-Arts-style mansion, a guest house studio with an own guarded entrance, a pool house, a fitness studio, a tea house, and a separate garage with a security station are all part of the property.
According to “People,” the property offers expansive vistas of Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood Hills. In addition, the property has rolling lawns, century-old trees, and total seclusion from the outside world.
According to the listing owned by Ernie Carsell of Sotheby’s International Realty, the house was first designed by architect B. Cooper Corbett in 1913 and then purchased by DeMille in 1916. The estate was retained by the DeMille family until the late 1980s.
According to property documents cited by the Wall Street Journal, the Couture star paid $24.5 million for the Los Feliz house in 2017, the year after her divorce from Brad Pitt. In an August 2024 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Jolie stated that she is only in Los Angeles “because I have to be here from a divorce,” which raised suspicions that she was considering leaving the city.
