Air Arabia Abu Dhabi Departs for Almaty, Kazakhstan

The first low-cost airline in the city, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, began operating flights between Almaty, Kazakhstan, and Abu Dhabi. The new route, which will begin operating three weekly flights on June 3, demonstrates the airline’s ongoing dedication to improving connectivity between the UAE and Central Asia.

Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, stated, “We are happy to launch our non-stop service between Abu Dhabi and Almaty, a route highlighting our commitment to expanding affordable travel options across key international destinations directly from the UAE capital.

“This launch gives travellers from Kazakhstan easy access to the vibrant capital of the United Arab Emirates, while also giving them the chance to experience the rich cultural legacy and scenic beauty of one of Central Asia’s most dynamic cities.”

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi’s direct service to Almaty marks a valuable addition to our growing network at Zayed International Airport,” stated Elena Sorlini, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi Airports. This new link reflects our continuous efforts to solidify Abu Dhabi’s position as a major international hub, which expands our customers’ travel possibilities. We anticipate this route’s beneficial effects on advancing travel, cultural exchange, and business cooperation between Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates.
