The newly elected board of the AUS Alumni Association (AUSAA) and the newly appointed board of the Alumni CEO Club met recently with Sheikha Bodour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, President of the American University of Sharjah (AUS), to enhance engagement and establish forward-looking priorities to further the university’s objectives.
Sheikha Bodour remarked, “These meaningful exchanges are a reminder of the limitless potential within our alumni community. Their dedication to excellence, creativity, and mentoring not only embodies core AUS values, but it also raises the bar for what our team can accomplish.
Our graduates are ambassadors of the AUS ideal, embracing the pursuit of responsible leadership and community contribution. Together, we’re building a legacy that will sustain and grow both our individual accomplishments and our group power.
They also talked about investing in alumni through long-term interactions with them, professional development efforts, mentorship programs, and chances for further education. The board emphasised the mutually beneficial relationship that exists between AUS and its graduates, stressing the vital role that alumni play in assisting the present student body and providing access to university networks and resources.
Reem Baggash, president of the AUSAA, highlighted the importance of meeting with the AUS leadership, seeing it as a critical step in building the university’s network of “talented alumni.”
