As a result of the continued influence of a surface air depression combined with an upper-atmospheric air high, Monday saw precipitation of varied intensities across the nation.
Rain was seen in many locations along the eastern shore, as well as in Malakat, Masaken, and other portions of Al Ain. The National Centre for Meteorology (NCM) stated that the lowest temperature in the nation on Monday was 19.3°C at 7:00 a.m. in Jabal Mabrah, Ras Al Khaimah. The intensity was moderate in Ghilan and Al Rams.
The NCM also predicted Tuesday’s weather to be clear to partly overcast, with the possibility of cumulus cloud formation in the eastern and southern regions, which could result in precipitation. Furthermore, winds of 10 to 25 km/h with sporadic gusts up to 35 km/h are predicted to blow from the southeast to the northeast. The Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are predicted to have calm waters.
The National Climate Assessment (NCM) has predicted clear to partly overcast conditions for Wednesday, with the possibility of precipitation at night and on Thursday early in coastal and inland locations, especially in the eastern sections.
