UAE Strengthens its Standing as a Major International Centre for Trade and Tourism

In October, the UAE will host and coordinate a number of significant international events and activities, strengthening its standing as a key international Tourism centre for travel and business.

Being one of the top locations in the world for holding conferences, international exhibits, and specialised forums all year long, the UAE has a packed October event schedule.

The Emirates News Agency (WAM) covered several of the major events. At the start of October, the Sheikha Fatima Fund for Refugee Women will hold an international symposium on the health of refugee women in the context of climate change in Abu Dhabi.

On October 9 and 10, Sharjah will play host to the first-ever Regional Data & Community Development Forum. Over 100 speakers from multiple countries will discuss a range of topics, including the use of data in infrastructure development, sustainability, the future of the labour market, and enhancing quality of life.

The 10th World Green Economy Summit (WGES), which will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) on October 2 and 3, will feature prominent international experts and speakers. There will be attendees from academic institutions, international organisations, and governments.
