In keeping with its continuous campaign of strikes against its arch-enemy Iran, the Israeli military said on Sunday that it was mobilizing over 100,000 reservists.As part of Operation ‘Roaring Lion,’ which Israel has given to its campaign against Iran and which was initiated in coordination with the United States on Saturday, the IDF is getting ready to call up about 100,000 reservists and is increasing its level of readiness on the various fronts, the military said in a statement.
The Pentagon reported Sunday that the operation against Iran has killed three US military personnel and injured five more, marking the first American casualties in the US-Israeli attack that murdered the supreme leader of the Islamic republic.
Iran defied President Donald Trump’s threat to strike with unprecedented fury on Sunday, launching a fresh round of retaliatory attacks throughout the Gulf after threatening to exact revenge for the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Explosions erupted as crowds gathered in Tehran, some in mourning, others in celebration, and the Israeli military declared it was once more hitting targets in the center of the city.
