The Mohammed Bin Rashid Library is organizing a wide range of cultural and educational events in March to encourage reading, creativity, and community involvement in keeping with the Month of Reading and the Year of Family.
In order to enhance visitors’ experiences and foster a greater respect for culture and knowledge, the program offers literary events, theatrical productions, workshops, and family-friendly activities. The Library is extending the “A World Reads” effort with the “Let’s Read Together” program to promote reading as a daily habit. Throughout the month, visitors receive books.
The program seeks to increase intellectual engagement in the community and encourage individuals of all ages to develop reading as a sustainable habit. Al Khor Ramadan Nights, a week-long program of family-friendly cultural events, is being organized by the Library in association with Empty Basket. A Ramadan market, children’s activities, poetry readings, creative evenings, and seminars emphasizing family values are all part of the program.
The Library is planning a reading program with the topic “Towards a Reading Society” as part of its efforts to assist reading communities. To promote discussion on reading and knowledge, the program brings together a variety of groups and societies.
