The humanitarian aid sent by the Sheikh Saeed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Endowment to the Gaza Strip has arrived in the Egyptian city of Al Arish, which includes 10,000 winter aid bags with 70,000 pieces of clothing and heating equipment.
The shipment is part of the Winter Clothing effort initiated under the Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 to provide assistance to the Palestinians in Gaza and help them cope with tough winter circumstances. The effort is expected to reach one million people in Gaza and provide Palestinian families with necessary winter supplies, making their suffering easier despite tough humanitarian conditions.
The UAE humanitarian aid logistics center in Al Arish, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 team, is managing the preparation and shipment of the goods to Gaza to ensure the continuous supply of humanitarian assistance to the needy.
The bags were produced on the sidelines of an event at Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities, with the participation of many students and community volunteers, reflecting cooperation between humanitarian and educational institutions and community members in assisting the Palestinians.
The donation from the Sheikh Saeed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Endowment to the Winter Clothing initiative is a confirmation of the UAE’s continued commitment to providing humanitarian assistance to the Palestinians, meeting their basic needs, and alleviating their suffering.
