In collaboration with the Ministry of Interior and Dubai Police General Headquarters, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai has initiated a wide range of awareness campaigns as part of its yearly Summer Without Accidents campaign. The campaign consists of awareness messages that are posted on Dubai’s streets, on electronic displays at Customer Happiness Centres, and on RTA’s and its partners’ social media and smart app platforms.
The program, which will run from early July to late September 2025, is a component of RTA’s traffic awareness operating strategy. It is in line with the Authority’s strategic goals and vision to improve road safety across the Emirate of Dubai.
The Traffic and Roads Agency, or RTA, Director of Traffic Ahmed Al Khzaimy said: “The RTA encourages all drivers to do normal and frequent maintenance inspections, including a brief examination prior to departure. Visually checking the engine oil and coolant levels, tire pressure and making sure there are no water or oil leaks below the car should all be part of this. Road safety standards across the Emirate might be impacted by unforeseen breakdowns, which can be avoided with the aid of such prompt inspections.
