For the holy month of Ramadan, Dubai has been turned into a dazzling display of light and creativity, with light projections, elaborate designs, shimmering lanterns, and large installations lighting up important thoroughfares and monuments throughout the city.
The emirate’s festive decorations have produced an amazing ambiance that embodies the principles of solidarity, giving, and cultural heritage, from the busy streets of Jumeirah to the vibrant neighbourhoods of Al Khawaneej. The second iteration of the #RamadanInDubai campaign, which was started with the approval and support of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, is characterized by its festive decorations and distinctive light displays.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai has partnered with Brand Dubai, the creative division of the Government of Dubai Media Office, to bring these magnificent displays and decorations to the city’s public areas. This will bring the festive spirit of Ramadan to both locals and tourists.
The project is a component of “Anwaar Dubai,” a brand-new Brand Dubai initiative to improve the city’s aesthetics by decorating mosques, famous streets, and monuments with festive Ramadan decorations.
