Emirati Youth are Essential to the Prosperity of the UAE

The winners of the second Khalifa Fund Entrepreneurship Competition have met with His Highness Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated the award winners and had cordial conversations with them about their ambitious plans and projects, which demonstrate Emirati youth’s understanding of their critical role in assisting the development process and helping to create a competitive, sustainable economy founded on knowledge and innovation.

The UAE leadership’s dedication to empowering young and strengthening their role in actively contributing to national development is reflected in the winners’ expressions of thanks and appreciation to His Highness for the meeting. They confirmed that the care and support they receive encourages them to keep striving for innovation and excellence by creating solutions that assist foresee and influence the future.

509 entrepreneurs, startups, young people, and talented individuals participated in the Khalifa Fund Entrepreneurship Competition. They offered workable answers to pressing issues in a variety of important industries, such as tourism, fintech, energy, healthcare, and agriculture.

To prepare for the competition’s final round, a total of 28 companies from Abu Dhabi, 21 from the Al Ain Region, and 8 from the Al Dhafra Region were selected to participate in an intensive bootcamp, where they received mentorship and guidance.
