In an Assault Case, the Al Ain Court Orders a Man to Pay Dhs50,000 in Compensation

After assaulting another man and causing injuries, including a fracture to his right ulna and tibia, which prevented him from working for a maximum of twenty days, the Al Ain Court of First Instance ordered the man to pay the victim Dhs50,000. An earlier criminal decision had found the appellee guilty. In specifics, a man sued another, asking that he be forced to pay Dhs100,000 in compensation for the injuries listed in the medical report, along with costs and fees.

He claimed that the appellant had beaten him and injured him, rendering him unable to work for a maximum of twenty days. In response to the plea for compensation, the court ruled that Dhs50,000 would cover all of the injuries listed in the medical report.
As a result, the appellee was mandated to reimburse the plaintiff.
