Abdullah Mohammed Mohammed Ali, a two-year-old Pakistani boy, drowned in a pail of water at his family’s house in the ancient town of Sidroh, Ras Al Khaimah, last Friday. According to medical authorities, Abdullah, the youngest of four siblings, was brought to Saqr Government Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah in the hopes of preserving his life, but he died there.
The infant’s father, Mohammed Mohammed Ali, said Al Khaleej that his child drowned at Friday prayer time in his house, which is close to the famous Kuwaiti Street in the center of Ras Al Khaimah.
While the father was in Friday prayer, the child crept into the house’s kitchen, where the bucket of water was, and fell into it, drowning within and dying without his family seeing. According to the child’s father, Abdullah’s mother washed clothing in a bucket of water, which the family always made sure to cover. However, it appeared that they forgot to do so this time.
Following the terrible and agonizing death of their cherished kid, in which no family member was able to save his life, the family is in a state of sadness and sorrow in both Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates,” he said.
