President and Indian FM Talk About How the ME Conflict Affects Maritime Security

The Republic of India’s Minister of External Affairs, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, was welcomed by UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Sunday. Jaishankar gave Sheikh Mohamed the congratulations of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the meeting, along with his best wishes for the UAE’s ongoing security and development.

Sheikh Mohamed requested him to send his best wishes for continued development and prosperity for India and its people to the Indian Prime Minister. The Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the United Arab Emirates and India were addressed, along with strategies to further the relationship in accordance with their shared interests and development aspirations.

They also talked about the Middle East’s trends and their grave consequences for regional and global security and stability, as well as how they affect energy supply, maritime security, and the world economy.

The meeting discussed the Iranian terrorist attack on citizens and civilian infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates and other nations in the region, pointing out that it violates international law and standards as well as sovereignty.
