Presidents of the UAE and Indonesia Spoke on Energy and the Economy

On Wednesday, UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with President Prabowo Subianto of the Republic of Indonesia at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi. The two leaders looked at ways to further their bilateral collaboration, particularly in important areas like infrastructure, renewable energy, investment, the economy, and sustainability.

The talks were held within the framework of the two countries’ strategic relationship and comprehensive economic collaboration to achieve their common development goals.

His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, attended the meeting. Sheikh Mohamed and Subianto also reviewed several regional and global developments of shared interest.

They underlined their nations’ unwavering commitment to promoting peace and stability and resolving disputes amicably in order to promote global development and prosperity. They also reaffirmed their mutual dedication to advancing the UAE-Indonesia relationship, which is still making great strides, for the benefit of both countries’ citizens. The two presidents witnessed the launch of several memoranda of understanding and agreements between Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates during Subianto’s visit.

In addition to cooperation agreements in security and Islamic affairs, they encompassed a wide range of topics, such as the economy, investment, environment, food security, renewable energy, and sustainability.
