Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, and Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), talked about how to improve coordination and collaboration between RTA and Dubai Airport.
They examined future transport plans for Dubai World Central-Al Maktoum International (DWC) as well as traffic projects and solutions targeted at enhancing traffic flow along road corridors leading to and from Dubai International (DXB).
Strengthening the connection between the aviation industry and the road and transport network, improving passenger flow, and offering smooth, integrated transportation for Dubai locals and tourists were the main topics of discussion.
Al Tayer confirmed that a crucial component of bolstering Dubai’s competitiveness and solidifying its standing as a major international center for business, travel, and aviation is the integration of the transportation and aviation systems.
He stated that in order to support the emirate’s continuous urban and economic growth, RTA is working with its key partners to create an integrated and adaptable network of roadways and public transport options.
