His Majesty Dr. Ahmed Bin Hilal Al Busaidi, the Sultanate of Oman’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, was received at Al Badi Palace in Sharjah on Monday morning by Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the ruler of Sharjah and a member of the Supreme Council.
Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq of Oman sent a note to the Ruler of Sharjah during the meeting, addressing the cultural cooperation between Sharjah and Oman to promote growth and fortify relations.
Dr. Al Busaidi conveyed the Sultan of Oman’s warmest regards to the Sharjah ruler. He wished for Sheikh Sultan’s health and well-being as well as for the UAE and Sharjah to continue to advance, flourish, and grow.
Sheikh Sultan underlined the UAE and Oman’s long-standing and solid relationship, as well as their efficient communication at all levels. This partnership encourages collaboration and backs a variety of knowledge, cultural, and scientific endeavours between the two countries.
The meeting’s main topic was Sharjah’s significant cultural contributions, both at home and abroad. It has a distinguished reputation both locally and internationally thanks to its dedication to advancing and sustaining culture and knowledge. Sharjah has thus developed into a centre for writers, scientists, and intellectuals from a wide range of literary, scientific, and cultural disciplines.
