In a letter to Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed bilateral ties and strategies for enhancing the two nations’ Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
During a meeting on Monday at the Prime Minister’s Office in Tokyo, Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and the UAE’s Special Envoy to Japan, handed the letter. Additionally present at the meeting were UAE Ambassador to Japan Shihab Al Faheem and Minister of State Noura Bint Mohammed Al Kaabi.
Al Jaber greeted the Japanese Prime Minister on behalf of Sheikh Mohamed, sent the UAE’s best wishes for Japan’s ongoing development and prosperity, and expressed his optimism for Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai’s success.
In exchange, Ishiba greeted Sheikh Mohamed and shared his aspirations for the UAE’s ongoing progress and expansion. The two parties talked about how to strengthen their bilateral ties as part of the 2022 Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
Al Jaber restated the dedication of the UAE leadership to enhancing collaboration and elevating relationships to new strategic heights. He emphasized the possibility of strengthening cooperation in key areas that promote sustainable development goals in both countries, such as the economy, commerce, energy, industry, advanced technology, and space.
