The Sharjah Real Estate Market Booms as Sales hit Dhs13.2 Billion

When compared to the same period in 2024, when the real estate market value in the Emirate of Sharjah was around Dhs10 billion, it increased by 31.9% to Dhs13.2 billion in the first quarter of 2025. Compared to the same period of the previous year, when 23,478 transactions were reported, the department’s transaction volume increased by 4.8% to 24,597.

This robust increase in real estate performance reflects the growing trust in Sharjah’s investment climate, which combines stable economic conditions with favourable laws for investors. Additionally, the variety of foreign investors attests to the allure of the emirate’s real estate market.

The Director General of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, Abdulaziz Ahmed Al-Shamsi, said: “Under the prudent guidance of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the diligent follow-up of Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Executive Council, Sharjah has positioned itself on the regional and international real estate investment map.

According to recent data, this industry can draw in a diverse group of developers and investors, increasing chances for investment, ownership, and housing. 8,123 Compared to the same period last year, when there were 6,146 sales transactions by area, Sharjah has seen 8,123 sales transactions overall, representing a 32.2% increase. These sales deals, totalling Dhs 10.7 billion, took place at 169 locations spanning 46 million square feet.
