
President of the United Arab Emirates His Highness At the end of his state visit, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan left the Republic of Turkey today. On a state visit to the Republic of Turkey, invited by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Sheikh Mohamed landed in Ankara earlier today.
President Erdoğan and Sheikh Mohamed presided over the inaugural meeting of the UAE-Turkey High-Level Strategic Council. President Erdoğan greeted Sheikh Mohamed’s visit at the start of the meeting and emphasized that it is a significant step forward for bilateral ties on all fronts.
Under the auspices of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership between the United Arab Emirates and Turkey, the two leaders met at the Presidential Complex in Ankara to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation across various sectors that support both countries’ development priorities and serve their common interests.
In their review, Sheikh Mohamed and President Erdoğan focused on the economic, trade, technology, and industry sectors, as well as renewable energy and food security, which are important areas that help both countries accelerate sustainable development.
