They emphasize that these provocative and offensive measures are a clear breach of international law, relevant United Nations resolutions, and the historical and legal status quo at the holy sites in occupied East Jerusalem.
The Foreign Ministers also condemn Israel, the occupying Power, for its ongoing and systematic violations and measures aimed at changing the historical, legal, and demographic character of occupied East Jerusalem, as well as undermining the sanctity and status of its Islamic and Christian holy sites.
They underline their unequivocal rejection of any attempts to change the historical and legal status quo in Jerusalem and its Islamic and Christian holy places, emphasizing its preservation while acknowledging the unique role of historical Hashemite custodianship in this regard.
