Limited Flights to The Middle East will be Resumed by Indian Airlines

In an effort to rescue thousands of travelers who had been left stranded by the conflict, Indian airlines said on Tuesday that they would be resuming limited commercial routes to the Middle East. In the Middle East, millions of South Asians reside and work. IndiGo announced that it would “progressively normalize” operations between the two nations by operating four roundtrip flights to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Air India Express announced that it would start operating flights to and from Muscat, the capital of Oman, on Tuesday. However, according to a statement from the airlines, flights to and from Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates are still suspended.
Budget airline Akasa Air announced that it would run a few flights to Jeddah.

In order to help Indian citizens who were left stranded in the UAE after the abrupt shutdown of airspace return, SpiceJet said that it would run four special flights from the UAE on March 3.
