Sharjah Airport Attains Level 3 Client Experience Accreditation

Sharjah Airport has received Level 3 Airport Customer Experience Accreditation from Airports Council International (ACI), marking the most recent stage in its efforts to improve passenger services. Sharjah Airport first received Level 1 accreditation in 2022, then advanced to Level 2 in 2023 after creating and implementing a complete customer experience plan across all departments. It renewed its Level 2 accreditation in 2025 before progressing to Level 3 in 2026.

According to Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, the accreditation reflects Sharjah Airport’s commitment to making passenger satisfaction a central focus of its operations and services, which aligns with the company’s strategy of providing an integrated travel experience built on quality and excellence while supporting Sharjah’s position as a leading destination for travel, tourism and business.

He further stated that obtaining Level 3 illustrates Sharjah Airport’s ability to collect and analyze customer feedback and transform it into practical improvements in partnership with airport partners, hence raising service standards throughout the airport community.

According to Al Midfa, the accreditation process evaluated how passengers’ input is collected and used, collaboration with service providers, and the airport’s ability to provide a seamless travel experience from arrival to departure.
