
Sherif Isa Mohamed Al Suwaidi, the newly appointed UAE Ambassador to the Federative Republic of Brazil, took the oath of office from UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Thursday.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, was present at the event. At an official event at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed also accepted the credentials of a number of recently appointed ambassadors to the United Arab Emirates.
In keeping with the UAE’s strategy of establishing communication and cooperation bridges with nations worldwide based on respect, cooperation, and common interests, the UAE President wished the Ambassador to Brazil well in fortifying bilateral ties.
The new ambassadors were greeted by Sheikh Mohamed, who also wished them well in their endeavour to strengthen ties between their nations and the UAE for the good of everybody. He confirmed that they will have the full backing of the appropriate authorities to fulfil their responsibilities and be successful in their positions.
The following ambassadors presented their credentials to Sheikh Mohamed: Pavol Panis of the Slovak Republic, Felipe Ribadeneira Molestina of the Republic of Ecuador, Igor Bely of the Republic of Belarus, and Arush Vinodhini Cooray.
