Superman Wants to Save Failing Movie Franchises, Not Just People

In addition to saving the world from villains, Superman is being urged to intervene and preserve a franchise in his most recent big-screen appearance. This week saw the release of James Gunn’s “Superman,” a remake that aims to revive the so-called DC Universe of superhero films based on comic books, which also includes Wonder Woman and Batman.
Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe the universe of Iron Man, Thor, Black Panther, and the Fantastic Four, who will get their own relaunch later this month has mostly overshadowed Warner Bros. and DC Studios’ celluloid endeavours.
“This is going to be the big release from Warner Bros.’s extensive financial and human resources invested in attempting to revitalise and refocus DC Studios,” Franchise Entertainment Research analyst David A. Gross told the media.
Gunn, the writer-director who garnered acclaim from genre fans for Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” trilogy, is up to the challenging challenge.
The release of the picture has already run into a number of obstacles, such as scepticism from fans of Zack Snyder’s earlier Superman films and a right-wing response at Gunn’s remarks regarding Superman’s status as an immigrant.
