
Sharjah Police patrols successfully rescued two people trapped inside an electric vehicle within 10 minutes, after a technical malfunction caused the car’s systems, including doors and windows, to completely shut down. The passengers were unable to exit until the police teams arrived and safely freed them.
The Sharjah Police General Command said the operations centre responded immediately to a report about the incident. Rescue teams were dispatched to the site, located on the road between Al Badea Bridge and Bridge 7, where the electric vehicle had broken down. The report confirmed that two individuals were stuck inside as the malfunction had locked the doors and windows.
Specialist teams acted quickly to secure the area, ensure smooth traffic flow, and take necessary safety measures before extracting the two passengers. Both were rescued without any injuries.The technical failure had locked both doors and windows, leaving the passengers stranded inside.
Sharjah Police emphasized that the swift response highlights their readiness, efficiency, and strong coordination, reaffirming their commitment to community safety and effective handling of emergencies.
