
The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) has renewed its pledge to empower youth and enhance their role in economic development, spotlighted through the Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council an innovative platform supporting young entrepreneurs and driving skills growth in line with Abu Dhabi’s strategic focus on innovation.
New figures reveal a striking 97.8% rise in youth memberships between 2023 and 2024, reflecting Abu Dhabi’s growing attraction as a vibrant business hub and increased confidence in the Emirate’s entrepreneurial opportunities. The Chamber reports a nearly even split among its youthful membership: 49% Emirati and 51% non-Emirati, demonstrating the diverse and dynamic nature of the local business landscape.

By August 2025, over 21,240 members aged 18–35 have joined the Chamber, contributing more than Dhs 14.9 billion in registered capital and driving a growing share of Abu Dhabi’s economic activity. Notably, 40% of these young business leaders are active in wholesale and retail trade, with others excelling in construction, administrative services, hospitality, and restaurants.
