Air Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s first and largest budget carrier operator, announced on Thursday the start of daily nonstop flights between Sharjah and Düsseldorf on December 16, 2026. Düsseldorf becomes Air Arabia’s third destination in Germany after Sharjah, joining Munich and Frankfurt on the airline’s expanding European network.
The new route will be operated by Air Arabia’s Airbus A320neo, providing customers with a modern, comfortable cabin experience while improving operational efficiency and fuel performance. Air Arabia’s Group CEO, Adel Al Ali, stated that the new daily service to Düsseldorf is a significant step toward expanding the airline’s European network and improving connectivity between the UAE and Germany.We continue to improve connectivity between the UAE and Germany by serving three destinations nonstop from Sharjah, providing our clients with more choice, convenience, and cheap travel. Our focus remains on growing our network and providing dependable, value-driven travel,” he stated.
Düsseldorf Airport’s CEO, Lars Redeligx, commented, “Connections to the Middle East and Gulf region have been an essential part of our international network for many years. The new daily service to Sharjah reinforces these ties.”
