On Thursday, the National Library and Archives published a book titled “Sheikha Salama Bint Butti,” which was given to UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Author and researcher Ali Ahmed Al Kindi Al Marar briefed His Highness on the main ideas and chapters of his book during a meeting at Qasr Al Shati, Abu Dhabi, with a delegation from the National Library and Archives.
A copy of the publication, autographed by His Highness, will be kept safe in the National Library and Archives’ Sheikh Zayed Hall. The Honourable Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed conveyed his gratitude for the National Library and Archives’ contribution to recording and conserving the history, legacy, and culture of the country for upcoming generations. He expressed his appreciation to everyone who contributed to this significant endeavour.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, Lt. Gen. Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Interior, as well as Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court, were present at the meeting. The National Library and Archives delegation thanked His Highness for his continued assistance to the organisation. They emphasised how crucial it is to use state-of-the-art technology to preserve priceless documents over time and make sure that future generations can access them.
